HEALTH
In order to meet the physical and emotional needs of our students, the Health Centre provides a range of support and educational services for our school. This includes assessing illnesses, injuries and psychological issues, providing care during illnesses, and coordinating with outside healthcare professionals. The Health Centre is managed by the school nurse and a visiting Doctor. The Centre’s staff also coordinates with the School’s athletic trainer for sports injuries and provides health-related educational programs for both students and staff. The Health staff is committed to acting in the best interest of the student. The Center encourages students to seek information and guidance about their personal health. All students are required to have health insurance coverage, nonetheless, Pearlville school has a health insurance partnership with NHS that provides further health coverage.

Health Forms
All students are required to submit completed health forms and a physical and immunization record form signed by designated health professionals. It is expected that the Health Center will be notified of any health changes that arise during the year, as it is important that this information remain current. Parents are expected to accurately complete all forms and return them to the School/Health Center by May 15th. No student will be permitted to move into school or participate in any school activities until the Health Center has received all required health forms, including health insurance.
